Do I have to use a Beautyrest base or foundation with my Beautyrest mattress?

Beautyrest mattresses and foundations are often times sold as a set because they are designed to pair together, and we can confirm their compatibility during quality tests. However, you are not required to use a Beautyrest foundation with your Beautyrest mattress.

As long as the foundation you're using is in good shape and uses consistent support it should pair just fine with your Beautyrest mattress. Examples would be an adjustable base, solid platform, or slatted frame. When using a slatted frame, we recommend that the slats are no further than 2" apart.
